My clap for a film timing mark and my cat charlotte reacting. Sadly, and with a lot of tears shed, charlotte had to be put to sleep in february 2019. We miss her so much. A bunch of gusts as a warm moist mass of air from the south steamrolls over southern illinois on, believe it or not, december 14th 2015. The temperature outside when i recorded this was 65 degrees! not quite the norm for this time of year. Recording made with the handy zoom h4n recorder using the internal microphones.

A beautiful morning in the rain.

Finally, a month after i needed it for my last film, i got really good foley of a spectacular thunderstorm. Here's 10 min of the best part. I can't use it right now, but maybe others can. It contains steady, heavy rain with peals of thunder at various distances.

Weird sounds my earphones are making when i move mouse on my lenovo thinkpad. Noise removed with audacity, in some part the mouse is moved about 120 bps tempo. Recorded with paw 120 internal mic.

Wind howls through cracks in a metal framed window. The window bangs as the wind pushes it around. Plenty of silence is included so noise reduction can be applied to taste. Recorded with a zoom h2.

I generate a sound f# 2 seconds. Then i created several silences in the track to the rhythms and sounds different (change the pitch of the sound). And i finally slowed down the tempo and accelerated speed. I selected it and i have made repeated 2 times.

A recording i made using my 3dio binaural microphones (and zoomh1 as the recorder). Set up the tripod near the door to my balcony. You can hear the wind against the house, rattling a little in some places. Rain comes and goes, against the glass door. Some cars can be heard outside, on the wet concrete. Recorded on thursday, 24th of february in noord-holland, the netherlands. Feel free to use this for any project you might have, and a mention is always appreciated.
